About Istanbul Kultur University:
The university was founded in 1997, the university is located in the European section of Istanbul near the international airport Ataturk.
The university occupies the rank (3107) in the world and the rank (45) in Turkey as an educational institution with a deep-rooted history. This university has been a symbol of educational services for generations, as well as an institution that provides education in accordance with international standards and national, global and modern values.
With these principles, this university is one of the leading educational institutions in Turkey and the European Union. Since its establishment, it has been working on preparing young people, from Turkey and all over the world, for life, facing its difficulties and dealing with them.
Why Istanbul Kultur University
Istanbul Kultur University conducts its academic and scientific activities through a total of 59 departments and programs, in eight faculties which are the Faculty of Science and Arts, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Arts and Design, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Health Sciences, and in two schools Two professions, the Vocational School and the Vocational School of Justice.
In addition, it provides higher education in 54 Masters and 11 Ph.D. Programs within the institute. Since its establishment, IKU has prepared young people from Turkey and all over the world for life in its campuses in Ataköy, Sirenifler, Basin Ekspres, and Incirli.

The university was established with the aim of contributing to the development of Kültür Schools, raising the quality of education above international standards, making this service better and more widespread, participating in educational activities, and contributing to Turkish national education and culture and to the society and economic development of our country. In the sense of establishment, the purpose of the Kültur Education Foundation is to work in the education of Turkish youth.

One of the most important goals of the IKU Strategic Plan 2018-2022 is the formation of a performance management system that supports the decision-making process of all internal partners of the Board of Directors so that they can carry out their planned activities. The implementation of all objectives in this plan will be monitored periodically, and all deficiencies that may arise will be corrected, and the dynamism and sustainability of the plan will be maintained. The performance indicators that will be used in this process and that were mentioned in this report will be reviewed to see their suitability for the system, and if necessary The thing is, revisions will be made accordingly. One of the most important priorities of the university is to activate the strategic plan and its implementation by all internal partners and to keep its spirit alive.

All units will regularly upload their performance achievement rates in relation to their goals and objectives, and their evidence files to the web page to be created by the Department of Information Systems and Technologies.

All units under the management of the Office of the President will be monitored on a monthly basis in relation to their achievement of goals, objectives and performance indicators. The Secretary-General will monitor the administrative units under the management of the Office of the Secretary-General in monthly meetings, and reports on them will be submitted to the Office of the Rector on a monthly basis.

Since it aims to identify problems that may arise in quality studies along with strategic plan studies, this work has been designed integrally for both the IKU quality assurance system and the IKU Quality Committee, and thanks to this, these two studies will be carried out together in coordination.
