About Uskudar University:

The university was established in 2011 in the city of Istanbul, the Institute of Social Sciences and the Institute of Health Sciences were established.

In the academic year 2012-2013, Uskudar University welcomed its first students

The Science Institute was established in 2013.

In April 2014, Uskudar University launched Science and Ideas Festival, which includes entertainment, for high school students to present their ideas and projects in an academic environment. The festival continues without interruption every year.

In June 2014, Uskudar University introduced its first graduates. 270 students of the Vocational School of Health Services, who have successfully completed the two-year education, graduated with a great ceremony.

In July 2014, however, it was established as the first Uskudar University Institute of Sufi Studies in Turkey.

NPİSTANBUL Neuropsychiatry Hospital, which is the application center of Üsküdar University, became the first private psychiatric hospital approved by JCI which was entitled to AMATEM license from the Ministry of Health in December 2014.

In 2015, Turkey represented the Brain Initiative program launched by US President Barack Obama at Uskudar University.

In 2015, professional radio and television studios were established for students of the Faculty of Communication. ÜÜ TV and Radio broadcasts continue without interruption.

Üsküdar Memorial Forest was established on May 6 Hidrilez in 2015, by planting 3 thousand seedlings in the area designated by the Environmental Organizations Solidarity Association on Şile Road.

Rector of Uskudar University in 2015. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan became a board member of the Society for Brain Mapping and Processing (SBMT) – Brain Mapping and Processing Association, which works in the field of brain research in the USA.

Uskudar University Publishing House was established in 2015. The first book of Dr. Publishing House was “Book of Conferences and Lessons on Brain-Behavior Relationships” signed by O Tanuz Tanrıdağ.

Uskudar University and NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital Center were opened in Cologne, Germany in November 2016 to provide education and health consulting services in Europe.

In December 2016, Pediatric Podiatry Unit was added to NP Etiler University Medical Center Uskudar.

In 2016, Vice-Chancellor of Üsküdar University. Dr. Seville Atasui was re-elected to the 13-member United Nations International Narcotics Control Board.

The Institute of Addiction Sciences and Forensic Medicine was established on April 09, 2016.
