Also, the Yeditepe University Marathon Team, which has been participating in the Shell Eco Marathon regularly since 2010, will also present us at this year’s competition, hosting 200 teams and 3000 students in London with the support of our university and our own companies.
To meet the academic developments with the marketing knowledge of a dynamic company, Yeditepe University established Yeditepe Healthcare Services in 2005. Having introduced a handful of care products, our company also started selling organic fertilizers with the brand name Bactogen, in order to remove negative factors that are harmful to humans and produce according to the principles Innovative farming. Pectogen products are operated by the specialized staff of Yeditepe University’s Department of Genetic Engineering and Bioengineering and its state-of-the-art laboratory.

Yeditepe University continues to conduct scientific research in its research and application centers, which include the following:
- Applied Research and Information Systems Center: It works to develop scientific projects, by conducting theoretical and applied research and scientific studies in the field of information technology, which include: information systems, software development and application, communication systems and data transmission.
- Dental Medical Education and Research Practice Center: Focuses on education and scientific research activities related to oral and dental health services and patient service
- Pharmaceutical Research and Applications Center: It is concerned with conducting biopharmaceutical research in cooperation with universities, governmental and non-governmental organizations, in coordination with the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university.
- Ophthalmology Research Center: It was established to provide the latest methods of diagnosing and treating eye diseases, conducting the latest scientific research, training distinguished ophthalmologists, and providing the necessary facilities for postgraduate students to continue their studies in the field of ophthalmology.
- Stem Cell Center: With the support of the Istanbul Development Agency, the center was established to implement projects in the field of stem cells and gene therapy, as well as research and development in the fields of cancer treatment and aging diseases.

- Training, Research and Health Services Center: It aims to conduct scientific research in order to provide the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment, especially with regard to public health.
